***MARKO'S TALE***
First,
I am happy to announce that “Marko’s Tale” is now available on
Amazon! This is a short story (just over 3,000 words) in the “Tales from the Nordonian” series. Learn how Marko was impacted by the Borenite attack on his home world. This is story two in a series of four short stories giving fans of “The Intergalactic Matchmaking Services” series more information on the aliens in that series.
I hope you enjoy “Marko’s Tale.” If you do, please stop by Amazon and leave a review!
The next short story in this series will be “Mathenzo’s Tale.”
***MISTER HAS A TITLE!***
Not many of you may know, but Mamzell isn’t the only cat in my life. While she is the self-appointed Production Manager, her brother holds a special place in my heart—and my office—too. It’s taken a while, but I finally figured out his role in the office. He now has the exalted title of Relaxation Coach.
With
the move to Arizona came the need of a new desk. The bed he and Mamzell sleep
in sits on the corner. This places it at my right shoulder. Whenever he feels
he needs to help me relax or take a break, he is within easy reach. His
favorite technique is to reach out a paw and snag my sleeve, getting my attention.
***AND THE WINNER IS***
The
winner of the $10 Amazon Gift Card from
last week’s guest appearance of Karen Jones Gowen is…Arlee Bird! Thank You to everyone who stopped by The Road to a
Dream and left a comment for Karen.
***CHANGES TO THE ROAD TO A DREAM***
In the
not-too-distant future (hopefully by end of April), there will be changes to my
blog. There have been some issues with gathering an e-mail list that just came
to light. Because my e-mail address was a free Yahoo address, I can’t access
the e-mails gathered there! I had someone else build this site, so my ability
to change anything here is severely limited.
Since I
can’t access the subscribers’ list, meaning I can’t transfer each address to
the new site myself, everyone will have to sign up again. I’m truly sorry for
that. We authors prize our e-mail lists for keeping in touch with our fans.
This has been a lesson in keeping my fingers in the pie, so to speak!
Once
the new site is up and running, and gathering e-mails properly, I will send out
a post from here for current subscribers to The Road to a Dream, to remind
you to sign-up again at the new site. Again, my apologies for the confusion.
Oh, by the way, my new
e-mail is AvaLouise@AvaLouise.net.

Until
next time…be kind to each other…and to yourself!
ReplyDeleteWow. An outpouring of news and events. I'm going to take it as a very good omen. You're muse does seem to have found you.
I'm headed over to Amazon right after saying hi. Jon
Thank you, Jon!
ReplyDeleteWell, cool. I see my name here as a winner of a gift card. I'm here a few days after the fact, but still I'm here.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the site upgrade. Stuff like that is always big fun.
